In 2 games, new-look linebacker crew shining for Western Michigan
The Broncos have gotten some star performances out of the three top linebackers so far this season, and feel good about the depth in the room, too.
If Western Michigan had lingering questions about its linebackers entering the season, they’ve been answered in the last two games.
As rising returners Dillon Moore and Domanick Moon have taken the reins and been joined by former JUCO standout Justyce Betts, the Broncos are quickly establishing the 2026 linebacking group as another high-level defensive room after that group thrived last season. Tennessee transfer Brenden Anes and returner Gabe Welch are also playing notable snaps, too.
