Announcing 'In The Pocket,' a new podcast co-hosted, produced by Mitten Football

Episodes will post weekly and center around covering FBS college football across the state of Michigan.

Exciting news on the eve of the 2026 season: Mitten Football is producing a podcast.

It's called In The Pocket, and is co-hosted by The Detroit News Michigan State beat reporter Connor Earegood.

The podcast will center around college football in the (state of) Michigan, namely the five FBS programs. It'll cover news and analysis, dig into pressing topics, preview games and pack in plenty of fun along the way.
