Chris Creighton confident EMU’s offense will get clicking: ‘Not gonna be surprised'
The Eagles have scored 38 points across the last three games, including a pair of forgettable performances on the road vs. Big Ten foes.
The stats for Eastern Michigan’s last two outings on offense are, pretty roundly, bleak.
The Eagles managed 17 total points across 120 minutes of football, albeit against two of the best teams that EMU will face this year in a pair of Big Ten teams. The rushing offense got flustered vs. Wisconsin after a solid performance vs. MSU, and quarterback Noah Kim has been on a mini-schneid in recent weeks. Nick Devereaux and Harold Mack, EMU’s top two wideouts, have dealt with injury and the former will miss several weeks.
It’s been ugly, surely. But it hasn’t left Creighton feeling downtrodden about the chances for his team.
